Woodbridge
Nestled along the banks of the Paling River, Woodbridge is a small but welcoming settlement surrounded by the forests of Ambrose. Its name comes from it's entrance, a great wooden bridge that marks the end of the King's Road.
Woodbridge is a place where people know their neighbors, merchants know their customers, and news rarely stays secret for long. Hunters, woodcutters, craftsmen, and farmers make up much of the town's population. Life here is modest, but the people have learned to depend upon one another in a land where the wilderness is never far away.
The surrounding forests provide much of Woodbridge's livelihood. Hunters bring in game, lumber is gathered from the surrounding woodland, and the river provides fish and a means of transporting goods. The town's location also makes it an important as it sits under the Great Dwarven Gate, A reminder of a different world is with reach, even though no one dares venture close to the towering structures.
Yet people of Woodbridge are not as ordinary as they appear.
